Executive and Clinician Coaching
Executive Coaching
For CEOs, COOs, CFOs, CNOs, vice presidents, and senior department heads in hospitals, health systems, and large practices.
What We Work on
Board and governance
reading the room, managing the chair relationship, working with a board that has lost confidence, preparing for an executive session you are not in.
Performance under scrutiny
a bad quarter, a failed initiative, a complaint, or a leadership review, handled without losing the room or yourself.
Transitions
the first ninety days, a role that changed underneath you, an interim appointment, or an exit you can see coming.
Influence and presence
leading peers who did not choose you, holding a decision when the organization wants comfort, communicating during a crisis.
Typical Engagement
A defined term with a set session cadence, plus direct access between sessions when something breaks. Most engagements run three to twelve months.
What You Get
Advisors who have held the seat. Preparation for the conversations that matter. Focused support for executives managing board relationships, changing expectations, difficult decisions, and leadership transitions.
Coaching for the Person Behind the Role
Work on motivation, constructive disagreement, career and personal commitments, and sustainable practices for demanding roles. Prepare for conversations with peers, supervisors, direct reports, and a spouse or significant other about work schedules, relocation, and career choices. The work remains non-clinical and does not include psychotherapy or couples counseling.
Ongoing coaching provides a regular setting to review decisions, practice conversations, and follow through on goals. The agreement defines the schedule, scope, and monthly fee.
CONFIDENTIALITY
We treat everything you share as confidential and do not disclose it without your authorization, except where the law requires disclosure. Accord is not a law firm and these conversations do not carry legal privilege.
We do not report to your employer, your board, or anyone else.
WHAT COACHING IS NOT
Coaching addresses professional performance, leadership, and career decisions. It is not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or clinical care, and it is not a substitute for either. Accord Health Advisors does not provide clinical services. If our work together suggests that clinical support would help, we will say so and help you find it.
