The First Call
A short private conversation to understand the situation and confirm fit. No charge and no obligation. If Accord is not the right resource we will say so and point you somewhere better.
Scope and Agreement
A written engagement letter setting the objective, the term, the session cadence, the fee, and the confidentiality terms. You sign it. Your employer does not see it.
The Work
Scheduled sessions plus direct access between them. Preparation and materials as the work requires. Nothing is reported to anyone.
Close or Continue
Engagements end when the objective is met. Many clients keep a lighter standing arrangement afterward for the next difficult conversation.
Coaching for the Person Behind the Role
Work on motivation, constructive disagreement, career and personal commitments, and sustainable practices for demanding roles. Prepare for conversations with peers, supervisors, direct reports, and a spouse or significant other about work schedules, relocation, and career choices. The work remains non-clinical and does not include psychotherapy or couples counseling.
Ongoing coaching provides a regular setting to review decisions, practice conversations, and follow through on goals. The agreement defines the schedule, scope, and monthly fee.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND PRIVILEGE
We treat everything you share as confidential and do not disclose it without your authorization, except where the law requires disclosure.
Accord is not a law firm and coaching conversations do not carry legal privilege. If privilege matters to your situation, we will tell you that before you tell us anything.
WHAT COACHING IS NOT
Coaching addresses professional performance, leadership, and career decisions. It is not psychotherapy, mental health treatment, or clinical care, and it is not a substitute for either. Accord Health Advisors does not provide clinical services. If our work together suggests that clinical support would help, we will say so and help you find it.
Accord Health Advisors is a non-clinical advisory practice. Needs outside the coaching scope are referred to an appropriate independent provider under a separate engagement.
Fees
Coaching is engaged on a fixed fee for a defined term rather than an hourly rate, so the cost of a difficult month is the same as the cost of a quiet one. The fee schedule is provided at the first call.
